Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Your unforgettable journey begins the moment you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You’ll be warmly greeted by your personal driver-guide or our dedicated representative, ready to ensure a seamless and comfortable start to your adventure. Enjoy a scenic drive to the vibrant town of Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s world-renowned national parks. You will have the most incredible overnight at the Under the shed Lodge in Arusha the jewel of Tanzania waiting for your wild adventure the next day.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Your journey into the wild starts today after an early morning breakfast where you depart for Tarangire National Park the third national park in Tanzania. The park is only 120 km from Arusha. The park lies between the meadows of Masai Steppe to the south east and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. Within the northern part of Tarangire is the permanent River Tarangire also known as the life-line of the park particularly in the dry season when most of the region is totally dry. This flows northwards until it exits the park in the north western corner to pour into Lake Burungi. The park has a hand full of wildlife throughout the year both resident and migratory. The giant baobab studded plains are famous for their high concentration of elephant and rich variety of bird life. Enjoy morning and Afternoon game drives in the park and a break for a midday Meal at a Picnic site. Later drive to Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Rise and shine to another spectacular day ready for an adventurous road trip to Serengeti passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Serengeti National Park where the extraordinary unfolds every day reserves a guaranteed humor, heart-breaking and nail-biting tension capturing the dramatic and emotional interconnected stories of iconic savannah animals. Filled with so many interesting activities, plenty of wild animals giving you the most memorable adventure of your life and the most fascinating memories full of remarkable wild animals and the most beautiful landscapes. Day 4 & 5: North Serengeti
You will have breakfast at the Lodge before we embark on an early morning game drive in the park. Serengeti National Park, in northern Tanzania, is known for its massive dramatic annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Seeking new pasture, the herds move north from their breeding grounds in the grassy southern plains. Many cross the marshy western corridor’s crocodile-infested Grumet River. Others veer northeast to the Lobo Hills, home to black eagles. Black rhinos inhabit the granite outcrops of the Moru Kopjes. You will return to Kogatende Camp for lunch and to rest for afternoon game drive.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Later on, drive to Farm of Dreams Lodge for the dinner and an overnight stay
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, your driver-guide will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your onward journey. Depart with a heart full of memories, countless wildlife encounters, and the exhilaration of a true Tanzanian adventure. Your safari may end, but the magic will last a lifetime.
